Soldiers of Fortune is a 1955 American adventure series following Tim Kelly and his sidekick Toubo Smith, played by John Russell and Chick Chandler, as they navigate dangerous missions across the globe. Each episode transports the pair to a new country, delivering action and intrigue in a half-hour format. The series was produced on Republic Pictures' backlot by Revue Productions, drawing on the studio's experienced crew. Sponsored by 7 Up, Soldiers of Fortune found steady audiences through repeated broadcasts into the 1960s. The show's success launched John Russell toward his later starring role as Marshal Dan Troup in the hit western Lawman.
