Studio Julmahuvi(1998)

Studio Julmahuvi is a Finnish sketch comedy series that aired on YLE in 1998. The show parodies an entire evening of television programming, condensing news broadcasts, weather reports, children's content, and a German police drama into a single half-hour episode, complete with fake commercials and TV spots. Created with an unusually generous budget of €67,000 per episode, the series achieved remarkably high production values across its eight-episode run. The result is a sharp, fast-paced satire of YLE's own output, packed with rapid-fire gags and spot-on imitations of familiar broadcast formats.
