Club Oasis is a comedy-variety series that aired on NBC during the 1957–1958 season, set in a stylish simulated nightclub. The half-hour show alternated Saturday nights with The Polly Bergen Show and featured rotating hosts, though bandleader Spike Jones and his City Slickers eventually became the permanent fixture. Each episode showcased musical performances and comedy sketches, with guests interviewed afterward by Hy Gardner. The premiere starred Van Johnson as host alongside Jo Stafford and the Ames Brothers. The series attracted major talent including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jimmy Durante, Andy Griffith, and Eddie Fisher, alongside regulars like comedienne Joyce Jameson and Billy Barty. Despite its star-studded lineup, Club Oasis ran for only 24 episodes, becoming a brief but memorable snapshot of 1950s variety television.
