OT: El reencuentro(2016)

OT: El reencuentro is the Argentine adaptation of the international talent competition Operación Triunfo, based on the Star Academy format. The original run, hosted by Marley, produced four seasons through 2009. The series returned in 2012 with a reimagined fifth season on Telefe, hosted by Germán Paoloski. This revived edition shifted its focus exclusively to female contestants, with the goal of launching a homegrown Argentine pop girl group. The format change marked a significant departure from the original mixed-gender competition, positioning the show as a platform for developing female musical talent in Argentina.
