Taming Of The Princess(1997)

Taming of the Princess is a romantic drama series about Princess Sing Ping, who flees the palace to escape an arranged marriage and encounters Kwok Oi, a witty and resourceful commoner, in the impoverished Cheung Lok Fong district. The two navigate hardship together and fall in love, eventually marrying and returning to court. Their happiness is short-lived when palace conspirators frame Kwok Oi, leading the princess to doubt him. Separated and facing a new foreign betrothal, the couple must overcome betrayal and misunderstanding to reunite. The series explores themes of love, loyalty, and redemption against the backdrop of palace intrigue and class conflict.
