The Tour is a Belgian documentary series that follows the 94th Tour of Flanders on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. As roughly 200 cyclists and their teams prepare for the grueling one-day race through Bruges, the series weaves together multiple perspectives—from the riders themselves to their support crews and the passionate fans lining the route. With millions watching on television and radio, the stakes are impossibly high for everyone involved. De ronde captures the human drama behind the spectacle, showing what's at stake not just for the competitors but for the entire ecosystem surrounding professional cycling. The series originally ran nine episodes but was edited down to seven for the DVD release.
