Lie to Me(2011)

Lie to Me is a South Korean romantic comedy series following Gong Ah-jung, a government official who impulsively claims to be married to Hyun Ki-joon, a wealthy hotel manager, to escape an awkward situation. What begins as a simple lie spirals into genuine complications when Ki-joon agrees to play along with the deception. Their fake marriage becomes increasingly difficult to maintain when Oh Yoon-joo, Ki-joon's ex-fiancée and close friend of his brother, suddenly resurfaces and threatens to expose the truth. As Ah-jung and Ki-joon navigate the chaos of their fabricated relationship, real feelings develop beneath the layers of deception. The series explores how one careless lie can unravel lives and create unexpected connections, blending humor with emotional depth as the couple grapples with the consequences of their tangled web.
