Outland is a six-part comedy series following a gay science fiction fan club and the messy lives of its five members. Max struggles with insecurity and romance. Andy is sexually adventurous and bakes muffins. Rae serves as the group's moral compass. Fab thrives on high-camp theatrics and high maintenance. Toby is wealthy but socially awkward. Every meeting descends into chaos as hidden tensions surface and long-buried secrets emerge. The series explores themes of belonging and acceptance, asking whether a shared love of science fiction can hold this fractious group together through their personal dramas and conflicting personalities.
