Queens of Diamonds and Hearts(2012)

Queens of Diamonds and Hearts is a fantasy series set in the Qi Kingdom, where political chaos threatens the realm. Ancient guardian spirits intervene by pairing the incompetent King Chai with Chung Mo Yim, a brilliant shaman tasked with restoring order. When a rebel faction manipulates the king into also marrying Ha Ying Chun, Chai names both women queens. The dynamic quickly becomes complicated: while the king chases the beautiful but troublesome Ying Chun, the capable Mo Yim must constantly repair the damage his poor decisions cause. As disaster mounts, Mo Yim finds herself caught between duty to the kingdom and the impossible task of managing a foolish monarch and his scheming rival queen.
