Witness Insecurity is a comedy series that spun off from the 2011 TVB show Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir! The new series centers on the character Miss Cool, played by Chung, who became a fan favorite in the original program. Rather than simply reprising her role, the spinoff explores fresh storylines built around the character's comedic appeal. The show maintains the lighthearted tone of its predecessor while giving Miss Cool room to carry her own narrative. Announced in late 2011, the series represents TVB's confidence in both the character and the actress's ability to anchor a full production. The costume fitting press conference in November 2011 marked the official launch of the project, signaling the start of active production development for Hong Kong audiences.
