Desencuentro(1997)

Desencuentro is a Mexican telenovela that aired on Canal de las Estrellas from November 1997 to April 1998. When Victoria San Román's father dies suddenly, his death leaves her family destitute and forces her to confront a harsh new reality. Convinced that powerful businessman Andrés Rivera engineered her father's downfall, Victoria travels to Mexico City to expose the truth. There she encounters Luis Torres, a widowed firefighter raising a son alone, and becomes entangled in a passionate triangle between two very different men. As Victoria pursues her revenge, family secrets unravel and deception threatens to derail her quest for justice. The series stars Daniela Castro, Juan Ferrara, Ernesto Laguardia, and Alma Muriel, and is based on the story El enemigo by Caridad Bravo Adams and Luis Moreno.
