Between the Lions(2000)

Between the Lions is a PBS Kids puppet series that makes reading fun for children ages 4 to 7. Created by WGBH Boston and Sirius Thinking Ltd., the show uses colorful puppets and playful storytelling to build early literacy skills. It won seven Daytime Emmy Awards between 2001 and 2007, earning recognition for its educational approach. The series shares the same puppet aesthetic as Sesame Street and even featured guest appearances from that show in later seasons. Between the Lions ran for ten seasons, concluding in November 2010 alongside Reading Rainbow.
