Pet Star(2002)

Pet Star is a competition series hosted by Mario Lopez that showcases trained pets performing tricks for celebrity judges. Each episode features pet owners competing for the title, with three rotating judges scoring performances on a scale of one to ten. The three highest-scoring pets advance to the audience vote, which determines that episode's Pet Star winner, earning $2,500. Throughout the season, episode winners compete in finals for the Ultimate Pet Star title and a $25,000 prize. The show draws from the format of Star Search and features an extensive roster of celebrity judges including Kaley Cuoco, Fred Willard, Ben Stein, and many others from film and television. Pet Star aired on Animal Planet and has been broadcast internationally on Challenge in the United Kingdom.
