The Holy Pearl(2011)

The Holy Pearl is a 2011 Chinese television series that blends fantasy and time-travel adventure. Gillian Chung plays the daughter of an archaeologist who discovers she is the reincarnation of a warrior priestess when she travels back in time. Joined by a human-dragon hybrid, she embarks on a quest to recover a shattered magical vase. Drawing inspiration from Rumiko Takahashi's InuYasha manga, The Holy Pearl combines martial arts action with supernatural mythology, following its heroine as she uncovers her past life and battles to restore an ancient artifact.
