In the Flesh is a British drama series that explores what happens when thousands of reanimated corpses are cured and returned to society. After the undead nearly destroyed Britain, scientists develop a treatment that restores the zombies to their human form. But acceptance proves harder than medicine. The show follows the rehabilitation efforts and social tensions as treated former-zombies attempt to rebuild their lives among a fearful, resentful population. It's a character-driven examination of prejudice, identity, and belonging wrapped in a supernatural premise. The series balances intimate personal stories with larger questions about forgiveness and what it means to be human.
