Heaven's Coin(1995)

Heaven's Coin is a Japanese drama following Aya Kuramoto, a deaf and mute woman from Hokkaido who falls in love with Dr. Shūichi Nagai. When Shūichi relocates to Tokyo and suffers a memory-erasing accident, Aya travels to the city to find him. Instead, she encounters Takumi Nagai, Shūichi's brother, setting in motion a complex emotional journey. The series explores themes of communication, loss, and unexpected connection as Aya navigates a world that doesn't always understand her, while searching for the man she loves. Caught between two brothers and her own determination, Aya must find new ways to bridge the gap between her silent world and those around her.
