10 Items or Less(2006)

10 Items or Less is a comedy series following Leslie Pool, who inherits his father's Green & Grains grocery store and returns to his native Ohio to run it. His plans face immediate sabotage from Amy, the manager of the rival Super Value Mart across the street. The two have a history stretching back to high school, where Amy was the popular beauty queen and Leslie was the overlooked nerd. Now adults, they're locked in a competitive battle for their town's grocery business, with Leslie determined to keep his family store afloat against her corporate supermarket. The show mines humor from their opposing personalities, small-town retail warfare, and the unresolved tension between them.
