Kakusho(2013)

Kakusho is a Japanese crime series following Akiho Takeda, a detective newly assigned to the #3 investigation team at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. When a jewelry store burglary erupts in Shibuya on her first day, the high-profile case goes to the rival #1 team—the unit she desperately wanted to join. Undeterred, Akiho investigates independently and uncovers a pattern: two diamond thefts from separate stores, each targeting stones from the legendary "Kuraida Family's Three Sisters" collection. While colleagues assume a single mastermind, Akiho notices the theft methods differ significantly. Convinced the crimes are connected despite their surface differences, she pursues the case against the grain, determined to prove herself and solve the mystery before the elite team does.
