Cupid Defendant(2009)

Cupid Defendant is a Thai romantic comedy series about Nim, a famous actress obsessed with her on-screen partner Pom Thorani. When Nim threatens to sabotage Pom's wedding to his girlfriend Pakkard, Pom enlists his younger brother Mek—recently returned from the USA—to kidnap her and keep her away until after the ceremony. Mek reluctantly agrees and whisks Nim off to a private island, adopting the persona of a cruel lakorn villain to scare her into submission. But Nim is no damsel in distress. Instead of tears and compliance, she meets his theatrics with sharp wit and fierce resistance, turning their forced isolation into a constant battle of wills. As they clash day after day, neither expects what might spark between them.
