Jul i Gammelby is a Danish children's series about mischievous elves living in the attic of an old Mayor's House. When the elves learn that children Mads and Mette face a bleak Christmas, they spring into action—sabotaging the town's baking supplies to create chaos and force a solution. Meanwhile, the Mayor grows increasingly anxious about the mysterious disappearances and a more pressing crisis: the supply ship "Hope" has vanished at sea with no word for months.
