Road Tasted(2006)

Road Tasted is a Food Network series that follows hosts Jamie and Bobby Deen as they travel across America hunting for the best family-run food businesses. The show premiered in July 2006 and was created by Gordon Elliott, a longtime friend of Paula Deen's. A key draw is that featured businesses can ship products directly to viewers, and each episode includes ordering information. The Deen brothers eventually stepped back to focus on their family restaurant, and the series was revamped with Food Network personalities Pat and Gina Neely as hosts under the new title Road Tasted with the Neelys. The program celebrates regional American cuisine and small-business entrepreneurship, offering viewers both entertainment and access to hard-to-find specialty foods.
