Froutopia is a children's puppet series adapted from the 1983 Greek comic by writer Evgenios Trivizas and cartoonist Nikos Maroulakis. The show follows journalist Pikos Apikos as he travels to the fantastical land of Fruitopia to uncover the mysterious disappearance of Manolis of Manavis. Produced by the Sofianou family and first broadcast on ERT in November 1985, the series became a beloved hit despite never airing its intended finale due to budget cuts. Across 48 episodes of imaginative puppet-based storytelling, Froutopia captured audiences with its whimsical adventures and distinctive charm, later finding new life through reruns and streaming on ERTFLIX.
