MyMusic(2012)

MyMusic is a comedy series that aired on the MyMusicShow YouTube channel, following the daily chaos at a transmedia production company where employees go by music genres instead of names. CEO Indie leads a fractious team—including Pop, Rock, Rap, and Country—whose clashing tastes and personalities constantly clash. A documentary crew shadows them throughout, capturing their misadventures. After the MyMusic building burns down at the end of season one, Indie forces the team to rebuild from scratch, pivoting toward social media and their blog. The show blends workplace comedy with music industry satire, as these genre-obsessed staffers navigate creative differences and corporate dysfunction while trying to keep their unconventional company afloat.
