Nils Holgersson's Wonderful Journey is a family adventure series following a mischievous 13-year-old farm boy who encounters a magical elf and is shrunk to miniature size. Suddenly able to understand and communicate with animals, Nils joins a flock of geese on an epic journey to Lapland, accompanied by new animal friends including a gander named Martin and a raven. The elf believes the adventure will transform Nils into a better person and restore his normal height. As Nils travels across Sweden with the geese, he discovers courage and compassion he never knew he possessed. Meanwhile, a girl named Asa sets out to find him, unaware of his magical transformation.
