Spuk im Hochhaus(1982)

Spuk im Hochhaus is a German comedy series set in a modern apartment building haunted by the ghosts of two 18th-century innkeepers. Two centuries ago, Jette and August Deibelschmidt ran a crooked operation, plying guests with drink to rob them blind. When police commissioner Friedrich Wilhelm Licht moved to stop them, a fire killed all three. With his dying breath, Licht cursed the thieving couple to wander restlessly until they complete seven good deeds. Now, trapped in a contemporary high-rise, the scheming spirits must navigate modern life and perform acts of kindness to finally earn their peace. The series blends supernatural elements with period-clash humor as the greedy ghosts struggle against their curse.
