The King's Face(2014)

The King's Face is a Korean historical drama following Crown Prince Kwanghae, born of a concubine and thrust into a precarious position of power. For sixteen years, he survives assassination plots and political schemes from the Northerner faction while battling his own father, King Seonjo, over matters of state and the affections of Kim Ga Hee. Kwanghae's path to the throne grows more treacherous as court intrigue deepens, but he finds an unexpected ally in Kim Do Chi, a physiognomist whose insights help him navigate the deadly currents of palace politics. As tensions escalate between father and son, Kwanghae must use cunning and determination to claim his rightful place as king.
