Jan Hus is a historical drama set in late 14th-century Prague, where King Wenceslas, his brother Sigismund, Archbishop Zbynek, and three competing popes vie for control of the Church. At the center stands Jan Hus, a master at Charles University and influential preacher who feels compelled to speak for the faithful and reform the fractured institution. His moral conviction puts him at odds with both ecclesiastical and secular powers who view his influence as a threat. As Hus pursues his vision of a unified, reformed Church, he becomes caught between warring factions of ambitious leaders. The series follows his journey toward a fateful confrontation, driven by principle yet surrounded by forces determined to silence him.
