Dream Again(2007)

Dream Again is a Japanese drama series following Shunsuke Ogi, a professional baseball player whose career with the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants ends abruptly due to a shoulder injury. A year later, still haunted by his love for the game, Ogi makes a desperate choice: he cancels his wedding to fiancée Satsuki Ninomiya and discards her ring, determined to leave his past behind and attempt a comeback. Just as he commits fully to his dream, a lightning strike kills him. The series explores themes of ambition, sacrifice, and redemption as Ogi grapples with the consequences of his choices and his unwavering desire to reclaim what he lost on the diamond.
