Beauty or Beast is a Japanese drama that pits two clashing philosophies against each other. Makoto is a ruthless producer who views television as pure product, willing to do anything for ratings. Hiromi is her opposite—a charming hedonist who treats work as a means to enjoy life, indulging in wine, women, and gambling. When these oil-and-water personalities reunite, sparks fly.
