Budding Prospects(2017)

Budding Prospects is a comedy series set in 1983 that follows three San Francisco men who abandon their hedonistic lifestyle for a marijuana-growing scheme in rural California. Lured by promises of easy money, they end up isolated in a dilapidated cabin facing brutal weather, suspicious neighbours, hostile locals, and relentless police attention. What begins as a get-rich-quick fantasy quickly unravels into a darkly comic nightmare. The trio must navigate mounting obstacles and their own incompetence as their operation spirals toward disaster.
