The Uninvited(1997)

The Uninvited is a 1997 British science fiction miniseries that follows photographer Steve Blake as he stumbles onto a sinister conspiracy. After witnessing the head of British Nuclear Power die in a car crash—only to appear alive days later—Blake becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth. His investigation leads him to Sweet Hope, a coastal village that mysteriously collapsed into the sea, its population mysteriously rescued by two police officers. Blake discovers that the survivors have since risen to positions of power throughout the British establishment. When he dives into the submerged village, he uncovers a chilling secret that threatens everything he knows.
