Dead Stock(2017)

Dead Stock is a Japanese series following Riku Tsuneta, a rookie assistant director at a TV station relegated to the "unconfirmed material center." Tasked with cataloguing decades of forgotten program materials discovered during the station's relocation, Riku works alongside Director Saori Nikaido and Producer Satoru Sayama to sort through dusty archives of old VTR tapes. Frustrated by the unglamorous assignment, his routine shifts when he uncovers recorded footage of an unexplained supernatural phenomenon buried in the station's vault. What begins as mundane archival work becomes an unsettling investigation into the station's hidden past, blending mystery with the eerie atmosphere of forgotten media.
