Die Rebellin is a German drama series set in post-war Bavaria. When Lena's father dies in 1945, he leaves behind a cryptic notebook with a single name: Sattler. Stranded in a village near Fürth with her seriously ill mother and sister, Lena embarks on a search for answers. She encounters two men who complicate her quest: Walter Juskowiak, a returning prisoner of war, and Hans Sattler, a radio kit salesman whose father owns the prominent Sattler works. As Lena navigates the hardships of the immediate postwar period, she must uncover the truth behind her father's mysterious final message while forging her own path amid the ruins of Nazi Germany. The series explores themes of survival, family secrets, and resilience during one of Europe's most turbulent eras.
