Sakura Wars is a Japanese anime series set in 1919, where mechanized armies threaten the capital. Kanzaki Heavy Industries has developed steam-powered giant robots as humanity's last defense, piloted by psychically gifted young women recruited from across the globe. The Flower Brigade, an elite unit of courageous fighters, must master their machines and work as one to repel an otherworldly invasion. As battles intensify and cohesion fractures under relentless pressure, a new commander arrives to lead the disorganized division.
