Filhos da Pátria is a Brazilian series that transplants the eccentric Bulhosa family to the 1930s, during the turbulent Vargas Era. A century removed from their previous incarnation, the clan arrives with their signature mannerisms and peculiar habits fully intact, creating friction and comedy as they navigate a transformed Brazil. The show blends period drama with satirical humor, using the family's anachronistic behavior to examine the political upheaval and social change of the era.
