Hole in the Wall(2008)

Hole in the Wall is a British game show that aired on BBC One, adapted from the Japanese format Brain Wall. Teams of television personalities contort their bodies to squeeze through cutout shapes in a moving polystyrene wall suspended above a swimming pool. Each week, two competing teams battle for £10,000 to donate to their chosen charity. Dale Winton hosted the first series, with Strictly Come Dancing's Anton du Beke and cricketer Darren Gough as team captains. Jonathan Pearce provided commentary on replays while Peter Dickson delivered the opening voice-over. The wall launches when the presenter shouts "Bring on the wall!" A second series followed in 2008, with du Beke stepping up as host and rugby player Austin Healey and actor Joe Swash taking over as captains. The show combines physical comedy with celebrity competition in a format that tests both flexibility and nerve.
