Hang Ups is a comedy series following Richard, a therapist forced to reinvent his practice after a spectacular collapse. Unable to run traditional 50-minute sessions, he launches an unconventional new approach: rapid-fire therapy delivered via webcam to patients scattered across the digital landscape. The show mines comedy from the absurdity of meaningful mental health work compressed into bite-sized online encounters, where technical glitches, interruptions, and the inherent awkwardness of video therapy collide with genuine human struggles. Richard's makeshift method becomes a pressure cooker for both hilarious mishaps and unexpected breakthroughs, as his desperate gamble to salvage his career forces him and his patients to confront their issues in radically compressed timeframes.
