From the Heart is a Japanese drama series about Mayuko, a young autistic woman struggling to understand human emotions, and Shinichi, a former psychiatrist grieving his girlfriend's sudden death. When Shinichi agrees to help Mayuko navigate social interaction, an unexpected connection forms between them. As he teaches her about emotional expression, he discovers that her unique perspective on the world is helping him rediscover what he thought he'd lost to grief—the capacity to feel love again.
