CNN Heroes(2007)

CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute is an annual television special that celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary humanitarian work. Hosted by Anderson Cooper since 2007, the year-end broadcast honors ten finalists selected from a worldwide campaign that runs across CNN's global networks. Throughout the year, new heroes are introduced weekly on air and online. Each fall, viewers vote online to crown the CNN Hero of the Year. All ten finalists receive $50,000 to support their charitable efforts, while the winner gets an additional $250,000. Celebrity presenters introduce each honoree, shining a spotlight on grassroots activists making real differences in their communities. The special airs across CNN, CNN International, CNN en Español, HLN, and CNNHeroes.com, reaching millions of viewers worldwide.
