Become a Mother(2017)

Become a Mother is a Japanese drama that follows Kashiwazaki Yui, whose three-year-old son vanishes while they walk home from kindergarten after she momentarily releases his hand. Nine years pass in anguish and uncertainty. Then, impossibly, her son reappears. The series explores the emotional weight of loss, the complexity of maternal guilt, and what it means to rebuild a relationship with a child who has grown up without her.
