Seven Detectives(2015)

Seven Detectives is a Japanese crime series following Yū Amagi, an eccentric detective reassigned to the Twelfth Section of Tokyo Metropolitan Police—a unit infamous as the "graveyard of detectives" where difficult, unfireable officers are sent. Joined by five elite but unconventional detectives, Amagi becomes obsessed with time itself as a investigative tool. He scrutinizes discrepancies between estimated time of death, crime occurrence, alibis, and timelines, hunting for the meaning of "blank time"—those unexplained gaps that might expose a perpetrator. His fixation stems from a mysterious past incident. As the team tackles cases others have abandoned, their unorthodox methods and Amagi's temporal obsession prove that the department's misfits may be its sharpest minds.
