Madonna Verde(2011)

Madonna Verde is a 2008 Japanese drama that explores the ethical complexities of surrogate pregnancy. Kuninaka plays Dr. Rie Sonezaki, a respected obstetrician nicknamed the "Cool Witch" by her colleagues. When Rie discovers she cannot have children due to a past illness, she and her husband devise an unconventional solution: asking her own mother, Midori, to carry their child.
