Turn Out the Lights(1967)
Turn Out the Lights is a 1967 British sitcom that spun off from the popular ITV series Pardon the Expression. The show follows Leonard Swindley and Wally Hunt, who've been fired from their department store jobs and reinvent themselves as travelling astrology speakers. As they journey across the country promoting Swindley's supernatural expertise, the pair stumble into increasingly bizarre and comedic encounters with the paranormal. Swindley's character had previously appeared in Coronation Street and its spin-off Pardon the Expression, making this the third instalment in the franchise. Produced by Granada Television and broadcast by Associated Rediffusion and Tyne Tees Television in early 1967, the series was directed by David Boisseau and Michael Cox.
