Secret Unrequited Love is a Japanese drama series following two childhood friends bound by an innocent promise. At eight years old, Takuma Kakinouchi and Mayu Taneda met in the hospital and vowed to marry. Seven years later, they reunite at a prestigious high school when Mayu deliberately enrolls to be near Takuma again. But Takuma harbors a painful secret: he knows his life will be cut short.
