Thong Eak, The Pharmacist of Chaloang is a romantic comedy set during Thailand's reign of King Rama V. The story follows Thong In, a seasoned doctor haunted by a patient's death for which he's blamed. Withdrawing from practice, he forbids his ambitious grandson Thong Ake from pursuing medicine, fearing he'll suffer the same grief and guilt. But Thong Ake is determined to master traditional Thai medicine and restore his grandfather's faith in healing. As the young pharmacist navigates ancient remedies and personal conviction, romance blooms amid family tension and the clash between duty and protection. The series explores whether compassion can survive tragedy, and whether the next generation must repeat the past or forge its own path.
