Saikyou no Futari(2015)

Saikyou no Futari is a Japanese detective series following Shinonome Jinpachi, a specially commissioned detective who returns to Kyoto Prefectural Police's First Investigative Division, and Natsuki Asako, a newly assigned team leader. The pair approach crime-solving through radically different methods. Shinonome relies on street-level intelligence gathered over years of investigation, pursuing tangential leads others overlook. Asako leverages her network of allies built across multiple postings and her willingness to take unconventional risks. When their contrasting techniques intersect on cases, the investigation unfolds unpredictably, uncovering truths that standard procedure would miss. The series explores how two detectives with opposing styles—one methodical and connected, the other bold and resourceful—complement each other in pursuit of justice.
