The Chimp Channel(1999)

The Chimp Channel is an American comedy series that aired on TBS Superstation in 1999. TBS's first original sitcom, it evolved from the network's Monkey-ed Movies interstitials and features costumed chimpanzees and orangutans voiced by human actors. The show parodies popular television programs, films, and advertisements while skewering entertainment industry stars and personalities. Though short-lived, The Chimp Channel became the first all-simian series since ABC's Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp ended in 1972, reviving a quirky format that had been absent from television for nearly three decades.
