Lame Ducks(1984)

Lame Ducks is a British sitcom from 1984 that blends dark comedy with surreal storytelling. John Duttine plays Brian Drake, a man left unable to work after a serious truck accident who abandons conventional life to become a hermit. As he settles into isolation, he's gradually joined by other social outcasts, including a woman named Angie. When Drake's wife hires private detective Ansell to track him down, the detective discovers a kindred spirit in the group's unconventional existence and chooses to stay. Written by Peter J.
