Encore! Encore!(1998)

Encore! Encore! is an American sitcom starring Nathan Lane as an aspiring opera singer on the cusp of stardom. When a vocal cord injury derails his career, he's forced to abandon his dreams and move back in with his family, who operate a vineyard in Northern California. The clash between his operatic ambitions and small-town family life drives the comedy. NBC premiered the series in September 1998, but it struggled to find an audience from the beginning. After just four episodes, the network shelved the show for two months. Though thirteen episodes were produced, the series was cancelled mid-season with two never airing on NBC. The show later found a second life in reruns on Bravo, completing its full run for cable audiences.
