Juliet in the Rain(2018)

Juliet in the Rain is a Japanese drama series following Hikari Kitazono, a 26-year-old woman haunted by a childhood tragedy. Fifteen years earlier, a musical actress she admired was murdered, and Hikari's older brother Kunihiko was convicted of the crime. The accusation shattered her dreams and forced her to abandon her hometown and change her surname. Now working as a bar hostess while caring for her ailing mother, Hikari has resigned herself to a quiet life far from the stage. When Kunihiko is released from prison, she prepares for a final, painful goodbye—only to have him vanish after insisting he's innocent. Caught between doubt and the possibility of a terrible injustice, Hikari must confront the past she's spent years trying to escape.
